Introduction

Teleinvest Romania SA, unique registration code: 3149750 in its capacity as controller has established and implemented this personal data processing policy which describes how Teleinvest processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)/ Reg. EU 679/2026.

The best practice rules on the processing and security of personal data set out below are reviewed periodically and contain our commitment to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data we handle.

Categories of personal data processed

We may process the following types of personal data:

– Identity data (full name, company affiliation)

– Professional contact data (e-mails, telephone number)

– Function and business function

– Service usage data (log data, support requests)

– Technical metadata (IP addresses, access logs) 

We do not process special categories of data (e.g. medical, religious, financial…) unless explicitly requested by the Customer.

Data sources

Data is obtained through:

– Direct interaction (contact forms, emails, telephone, face-to-face meetings)

– Internal communication with the client

– Completion of online forms

– System logs and access activity provided by the client as part of contractual services

Purpose and legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing of personal data by Teleinvest is mainly established under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), depending on the context of the activity.

In particular:

– Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): applies to technical operations, such as assistance, monitoring or logging, provided that these interests are not overridden by the rights of the data subjects.

– Legal Obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR): Applies when the data must be retained or disclosed in accordance with national or EU law, such as tax, accounting or data retention law.

Data Retention

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary, we will only keep data long enough to fulfil the purpose for which we collected it.

As soon as we no longer need it, we initiate action to destroy it, unless we are required by law to keep it for a longer period e.g. legal obligation (e.g. accounting, archiving), establishment, exercise or defence of a legal claim.

Data is retained as required:

– Applicable legislation in Romania/Switzerland

– Contractual agreements with interested parties

Upon termination of the provision of services/ contract, Teleinvest ensures:

– Secure deletion

– Archiving, if required by law

– Confirmation of data destruction upon request

Data sharing and transfers

We comply with legal requirements whenever we receive requests from the authorities.

Where necessary, we may transfer certain categories of data for legitimate business interests to companies in our group.

Teleinvest may share data:

– With the client and its authorised entities

– With public authorities or regulatory authorities when legally obliged

International transfers outside the EU/EEA:

– With appropriate safeguards (e.g. SCCs, adequacy decisions, specific security measures)

– After prior approval or notification to the customer

Where we consider that the processing is affected by high risks following risk analysis we will inform the ANSPDCP with a view to finding a solution.

Data security measures

Teleinvest Romania has implemented technical and organisational security measures and safeguards that it considers appropriate to protect the personal data collected. Security requirements are required of all our processors and suppliers. Our aim is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data of data subjects under the control of Teleinvest Romania.

The Teleinvest Romania Information Security Management System is certified by the certification body CERTINSPECT (www.certinspect.ro) against the requirements of SR EN ISO/IEC 27001:2023.

Rights of Data Subjects

The data subjects shall enjoy all the rights set out in Chapter III, Rights of data subjects of Reg. EU 679/2016. According to the applicable legal provisions, you benefit from the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, the right to object and automated individual decision-making.

Teleinvest does not use marketing cookies. On their own platforms:

– Only strictly necessary technical cookies are used

– No third-party profiling, analysis or tracking tools are embedded.

Automated decision making

Teleinvest does not use personal data processing systems for automated decision making or profiling of individuals in the context of the services provided to its clients.

Updates to this policy

Updates to the document will be posted on the website or can be viewed at the company office.
